DUI Probation – 0.01% BAC

21 January 2012

If you are convicted of your first DUI, you will most likely be placed on informal probation.  When placed on informal probation, you do not check in with a probation officer.  However, you are given certain terms that you must comply with.

Common DUI probation terms include obey all laws, pay all fines and fees, and obey all court orders.  An important term to remember is that you may not drive with a blood alcohol of 0.01% or higher.  Basically, it is a probation violation if you have any ounce of alcohol in your system while driving.

If arrested, you can be charged with a second DUI and a probation violation.  The DMV may also suspend your driver license for one year.

If you were arrested for driving under the influence, consult with an experienced Orange County DUI Defense Attorney.  At the Law Offices of Nam Q.
