Early Termination of Probation

31 May 2012

If you’ve been convicted of a crime, it is likely that you were placed on probation.  Being on probation can cause a burden, especially if you have an employment opportunity.

You must disclose your conviction to employers.  Your conviction may also hinder you from obtaining a type of license that is needed for your work.

If you find yourself in this position, one option you may have is to request the court to terminate probation early.  If granted, you will then be eligible to expunge your conviction and have it dismissed from your criminal record.

You will not have to disclose your dismissed conviction to a private employer.

If you are on probation and you want to have the court terminate your probation early, call the Law Offices of Nam Q. Doan | OC Legal Defense today at (714)248-DOAN(3626).  I can assist you with this process.  For more information, visit www.OCLegalDefense.com and read the Expungement section.
