Orange County DUI Court Sting Operations

16 December 2011

Law enforcement is currently conducting a DUI crackdown for the holiday season.  In addition to the several DUI Checkpoints being conducted, the Orange County Sheriff and Police Departments are also conducting court sting operations.

The court sting operation affects people with suspended driver licenses.  The driver license suspension is usually DUI-related but it doesn’t have to be.  Police officers will follow these people after leaving court and wait for them to drive away from the parking lot.

Once these people drive off of the parking lot, an officer will be waiting to pull them over.  Driving on a suspended license is a misdemeanor that will be charged in addition to whatever you were in court for.

If you were arrested for driving under the influence or driving with a suspended license, call the Law Offices of Nam Q. Doan | OC Legal Defense today at (714)248-3626.  For more information, read the DUI and Driving with a Suspended License section.
