2nd/3rd DUI Within 10 Years

California DUI Lawyer – Conviction Information Overview

2nd DUI Conviction

The penalties will increase if you are convicted of a second time DUI within 10 years of your first DUI.  Also note that a DUI conviction will be considered your second DUI if you had a previous wet reckless conviction.

If convicted of your second DUI, you will be facing jail time of 90 days to one year.  You will also be facing a fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000).  The court will add on substantial fees of their own depending on what county the court is in.

The DMV could also suspend your Driver’s license for up to one year.

3rd DUI Conviction

Getting a third DUI conviction within a year 10-year period will increase your punishment to a minimum of 120 days to one year in jail.  You will also be forced to pay a heavy fine.  Your Driver’s license can be suspended for up to one year.

A second or third DUI can be devastating because of the jail time and money involved.  If you are facing a DUI, it is important that you get legal representation.  I am a Southern California DUI attorney and I will defend your rights and fight to get you the best possible result.  I will provide you with a quality DUI defense at an affordable price.  I understand that it is an expensive process and I will work out a payment plan with you if needed.  I take pride in getting my clients results.  Call the Law Offices of Nam Q.
